BIOGRAPHY
Bettina Simone Stark is a native New Yorker, lifelong artist, and owner of the Willow Pond Farm Bed & Breakfast in Shelburne, Vermont, the setting of many of her works.
“I love the challenge of painting the landscape, always outdoors, live. My painting is a process of observing nature’s hidden colors.”
“I challenge myself by racing to keep up with the ever-changing character of the Vermont landscape- especially the dramatic skies. The spontaneity of the weather speaks to the impulsive, yet definitive aspect of my work.”
Bettina holds a Master’s degree from the Yale School of Art and Architecture. Her work has been shown in New York City, New Haven, Frankfurt, and most recently at the Furchgott Sourdiffe Gallery in Shelburne.
